# General Rules

### 🔞 Adult Community

Blackout RP is an **18+ adult roleplay community**.\
We strictly **do not allow** anyone under the age of 18 to play on our server — no exceptions.

> By joining, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.\
> Any violations will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

### 📜 General Rules

#### 🎭 Roleplay Standards

* All players are expected to maintain **high-quality and consistent roleplay** at all times.
* If your roleplay is deemed low effort, unrealistic, or disruptive, staff reserves the right to **review your behavior and take action**, which may include warnings or a ban.

#### 🎤 Microphone Requirement

* A **working microphone is required** to play on Blackout RP.
* Make sure your voice settings are configured to **Push-to-Talk (PTT)** — open mic is not allowed.

#### 💸 In-Game Transactions

* All player-to-player transactions **must use in-game currency only**.
* **Selling or trading in-game items, vehicles, properties, or services for real-world money** (e.g. PayPal, CashApp, gift cards, Twitch subs, etc.) is **strictly prohibited** and will result in a **permanent ban**.

#### 📺 Platform Compliance

* Blackout RP follows the Terms of Service (ToS) of:
  * **Twitch**
  * **Kick**
  * **FiveM**
* Violations such as:
  * **Hate speech**
  * **Racism**
  * **Homophobia**
  * **Sexism**
  * **Other harmful or toxic behavior**\
    Will result in an **immediate and non-appealable ban**.

#### ❌ Toxicity & Respect

* **Toxic behavior** toward players or staff — in-game, on Discord, or any public platform — will not be tolerated.
* **Do not leak, share, or discuss staff communications or tickets**, whether on stream or elsewhere. Doing so may result in disciplinary action.

#### 🚫 Donation Item Scams

* **Scamming donation items** (e.g. tuner chips, homes, exclusive vehicles) is not allowed and will result in a **ban**.

#### 📝 Reporting Violations

* All rule violations must be **reported within one hour** of the incident.
* **Use the ticket system in Discord** to submit your report in a timely and respectful manner.
