# Help & Support

***

### 🎟️ Tickets & Support

If you witness a rule violation, follow these guidelines to ensure it is handled properly:

#### 🚫 Do Not Break Character

* Always **roleplay through the situation first** — never break character or confront the player OOC.
* **Do not mention** you're submitting a report during the scene.
* Terms like **“flight,” “bahama,” “snitch,” “rat,” or “police”** in reference to reporting are **strictly prohibited** and considered **metagaming**.

> 🚨 **Reporting is an Out-of-Character (OOC) matter and should never be discussed in-game.**

#### 📥 Submitting a Report

To report a player:

1. Go to the **official Blackout RP Discord**.
2. Open a **support ticket** using the appropriate channel or bot.
3. Provide a **minimum 2-minute video clip** that includes:
   * **Full context of the situation**
   * **Visible player IDs**
   * Any relevant **audio** and/or **visuals**

⚠️ **Split clips or anything shorter than 2 minutes will not be reviewed.**

### 🛠️ In-City /report Command

If you're dealing with a **technical or scene-breaking issue**, you may use the in-game `/report` command to request staff help.

**Example:**

```
/report - I'm stuck in the bank vault and can't get out.
```

#### 🚷 Respect Staff

* Do **not spam, harass, or disrespect staff**, whether in-game, in Discord, or via tickets.
* If you believe a staff member has acted unfairly or unprofessionally, you may **submit a formal staff complaint** via ticket — **not publicly or in roleplay channels**.
