Gameplay Rules
INTERACTION
There is a 90-second interaction timer in place. You are required to initiate meaningful roleplay through conversation and have established storylines before engaging in any killings or shootings. Failing to do so will be considered RDM.
Except during war times, KOS (Kill on Sight) is not allowed. Even during a war, server rules must still be followed – "no rules" agreements between leaders do not exempt you from adhering to the server's regulations.
Any initiation must be based on a substantial roleplay reason and contribute to the storyline.
You are not allowed to draw weapons before the 90-second interaction timer expires.
EXAMPLES
You notice that a group of people are on your gang's block trapping. You press them, ask them who they rep and tell them they need to leave the block before you get back from running some errands or things will get ugly. The group of people decide not to leave. You call the rest of your gang and shoot the people on the block.
A player borrowed money from you to buy something. They are dodging your calls and refuse to pay you back. After finding out where they stay, you kidnap them and tell them they have an hour to get your money. They do not deliver and you let them know time is up. You track them down and shoot them.
Your gang leader is pulled over for a traffic stop and you know they just recently picked up a "kingpin" amount of drugs, and he has a warrant. The cops make him get out of the car and put him in cuffs - but the cop does not have back up. You press the cop with a gun to his head to release your friend in cuffs. As you're getting away, backup arrives and a chase begins. You crash your car during the chase and your only option to get away is to have a shoot out for your freedom.
Robbing
You are not permitted to rob or kill anyone who is AFK or in their head.
When engaging in a robbery, you must choose between robbing OR killing — you cannot rob someone and then kill/flatline them afterward.
Stealing from whitelisted businesses is not allowed.
Lootboxing players is prohibited. Robbing another player should create meaningful roleplay for both parties involved. While there is no fixed duration for how long the roleplay should last, it should ensure the person being robbed is part of an ongoing scenario.
Here are some examples of lootboxing:
Lootboxing is when you take a person’s belongings, whether some or all of them, without a valid roleplay reason. For instance, running up to someone and demanding, "Put your hands up or die," and then taking everything they have would be considered lootboxing.
Repeatedly robbing players or robbing them without clear, logical roleplay justification is also classified as lootboxing.
Approaching someone you haven’t roleplayed with and simply saying, "Put your hands up," is also an example of lootboxing.
Out of Character
Never break character. Going OOC will lead to a ban.
Breaking character or going OOC includes actions like talking about admins, mentioning Discord, streaming on Twitch, discussing your other characters, or telling someone you're going to report them.
Do not misuse /me. It should only be used to describe actions that don’t have an emote or animation. You are not allowed to use /me while down, except to describe your injuries.
Exploiting, Metagaming, and Powergaming
Exploiting or taking advantage of any known or newly discovered glitches or emotes will result in a ban.
Misusing bulletproof helmets or headgear is considered EXPLOITING and will lead to a ban if abused.
Using any information you did not acquire through roleplay is prohibited. This is called METAGAMING, and engaging in it will result in a ban.
Example: Player A receives a message via Discord from a friend telling them Player B's exact location, and then Player A uses that info to track and down Player B. Other examples include stream sniping, gathering info from someone's stream or clips, or using knowledge from players outside of the game (e.g., from your chat).
You are not allowed to be in Discord calls with anyone while in the city, as it is also considered metagaming.
Abusing game mechanics or breaking the rules for personal gain is known as POWERGAMING, and doing so will result in a ban.
Combat Logging
Combat logging, or leaving the game to escape consequences like death or a robbery, is strictly prohibited. Players who disconnect during an ongoing scene will face serious repercussions.
F8s/Quitting/Holding E During an Interaction:
If you witness someone doing this, please record and submit the clip for proper action. (ALWAYS INCLUDE IDS OR CHARACTER NAMES IN YOUR CLIPS) Quitting or using F8 to disconnect is NOT PERMITTED under any circumstances!
Reimbursements and Other Rules
We will NOT be compensating for any items lost due to disappearing from your inventory or overweight pockets. When transferring items to other players or receiving them, ensure they are not in your pockets at the time. Also, keep an eye on your pockets and inventory to avoid being overweight!
Dumping items in water or the ocean is not allowed.
Hitman roleplay is not permitted.
If you're carrying weapons larger than an AP pistol, you must have a suitable bag to carry those weapons.
